30.000 SEK är allt jag behöver (just nu). Om jag hade 30.000 SEK hade jag kunnat beställa ALLT jag ville ha från en Postorder-katalog jag just bläddrat i. Ska man logga in på Betsafe, leta sig fram till Casino Red och dra i några spakar? Vinst: 30.000 SEK + 2.066 SEK från min egen ficka. Beställa kläder, smycken och skor = Snygg i höst! Fast några tröjor kan jag nog gallra bort. Jag behöver nog inte beställa 5 jackor. Nya byxor kan vara bra att ha, men 4 par skor är kanske inte nödvändigt.
Jag kan nog pressa summan till 15.000 SEK.
Jag började bläddra i katalogen för att få lite inspiration. Imorgon ska jag dricka vin med min syster och en väninna. Sedan går vi till puben med, förhoppningsvis, lite livemusik. Då måste jag vara snygg! Eftersom jag inte är 20 längre så har jag fått lära mig lite nya termer. Formfast, komfortresår (elastic rib), bekväm midjehöjd, passform, och stödjande är viktiga ord att känna till när man är nästan... 30 (eller en liten bit över). Detta är en ny insikt så i min garderob finns ännu ingen komfort eller formfasthet. Bekväm kan knappast tillämpas på kläder man har på sig när man går till puben med tjejerna. Det kommer att sluta med ett telefonsamtal till syster:
Jag: Vad ska du ha på dig?
Syster: Jag har inget att ha på mig. Vad ska du ha på dig?
Jag: Jag har absolut inget att ha på mig!
Syster: Jag ska nog ha på mig en gammal klänning. Den där svarta, du vet.
Jag: Den du använde förra gången? (För 1 år sedan)
Syster: Åh, nej! Nu har jag absolut inget att ha på mig!
Så fortsätter det... i all oändlighet... amen. Vi har ALDRIG några kläder trots att garderoberna är fulla.
Min teori är att vi inte har "rätt" kläder. Jag fuskar och det tror jag att andra tjejer också gör. Jag fuskar med passform, pris och känsla. Om jag köpte ett plagg som passade perfekt, trotsade att det var fullpris och köpte kläder jag verkligen tyckte om så tror jag inte garderoben skulle kännas så tom. Dessutom borde jag bry mig om detaljerna lite mer. Accessoarer till exempel! Och rätt skor vid rätt tillfälle!
Imorgon ska jag försöka hitta det klädesplagg som passar mig bäst. Jag ska leta fram ett vackert smycke och kanske våga mig på höga klackar.
Sedan, med lite vin i kroppen och bra musik så kommer jag att känna mig som: A million dollar baby!

I started to browse the directory to get some inspiration. Tomorrow I will drink wine with my sister and a friend. Then we will go to the pub with, hopefully, some live music. I have to look great! Since I am not 20 anymore I have to learn some new terms. Shape, comfortable, elastic (elastic rib), comfortable waist height, fit, and support are important words to know when one is almost ... 30 (or a little bit above). This is a new insight as to my wardrobe are not yet comfortable or elastic. Comfortable can hardly apply to the clothes one is wearing when going to the pub with the girls. It will end up with a phone call to Sister:
Me: What will you be wearing?Sister: I have nothing to wear. What should you wear?Me: I have absolutely nothing to wear!Sister: I'll wear an old dress. That black one, you know.Me: The one you used last time? (1 year ago)Sister: Oh, no! Now I have absolutely nothing to wear!
So it goes ... indefinitely ... Amen. We have NEVER any clothes even though our closets are full of them.My theory is that we do not have the "right" clothes. I cheat and I think that other girls are doing so too. I cheat on fit, price and feel. If I bought a garment that fitted perfectly, ignored that it was full price and bought clothes I really liked I do not think the closet would feel so empty. Furthermore, I ought to care about the details a bit more. Such as accessories! And the right shoes at the right time!
Tomorrow I'll try to find the clothing that fits me best. I will seek out a beautiful piece and maybe venture on high heels.Then, with a little wine in my body and good music, I will feel like: A Million Dollar Baby!
