Någon: Men du måste ju jobba.
Någon: Men du måste ju jobba.
Jag: Eh... ja, jag vet. Men jag vill helst inte jobba. (Hörde de verkligen vad jag sa?)
Någon: Nej, men alla måste jobba.

Now it's holiday season. Many people know very well how nice it is to be off work. We want our vacation to be forever. Well, except for all of those who annually claim that ...
... You get so bored from staying at home. Last week of your holiday you just want to return to work.
Imagine having a job that is more fun than spending time with family, take care of the house or just sit and enjoy a good book in the hammock! It seems to be like that for a lot of people! Many of them say that they long to return to work. That they think it's boring to just stay home?
I have no problem with it. I LOVE to stay at home. I do not get bored and I can not imagine that any job would be more fun than to be home with the freedom to do what I want. It's funny that I seem to be quite alone in feeling this way. Or am I? Could it be that people do not want to admit what they really feel? They convince themselves something else to make life feel a little more fun? It's more than once I have had a conversation about whether they want to work or not:
Me: I'd rather not work. It would have been much better if I could stay at home all the time.Someone: But you've got to work.Me: Uh ... yes, I know. But I'd rather not work. (Did they really hear what I said?)Someone: No, but everybody has to work.Me: (Obviously they do not understand what I' saying) Well, not everybody. And some work shorter shifts.Someone: He, he ... yes, it is not affordable. (Laughs hysterically condescending)Me: Maybe you can't, but I'd rather not work ... * Sigh *
Such a conversation becomes rather boring and it is clear that the person does not understand what I say. Or is it denial? Of course, most of us have to work... But what if you had a choice?I feel a bit sorry for these people, actually. They have probably lost the ability to dream. And what are we without dreams?

Holiday is here in all its glory and I'm enjoying it. I intend to continue to dream of not having to work in the future.

To Work or Not to Work ... is no longer a question! (Not to work is a goal)
